Portfolio

I am currently at work on a novel about two sisters, the Iraq War protests of the early 2000s, and Bosnian brutalist sculpture. My literary criticism is forthcoming in multiple outlets. In the meantime, you can find my writing in following places:

Journalism

You can read my exposé in Vice detailing the alleged sexual assault of a woman in Eugene, Oregon, at the hands of a police officer who visited her house on a domestic violence call. The article represents over ten months of research and investigation I conducted on my own. After the piece was published, the ACLU took on the alleged victim's case, retaliatory charges against the accuser were dropped, and the officer involved was dismissed from the force.

  • Review of the 1980 Dennis Hopper film Out of the Blue here

  • Coverage of Native Fashion Now, a Native American sartorial exhibit here

  • Review of Portland author Pauls Toutonghi's memoir Dog Gone here
