Lecturer, Brooklyn College: January 2023 to present

Taught creative writing as well as the English 1012 course for first-year Brooklyn College students, a writing-intensive seminar focused on literary and film analysis that provides students with an opportunity to develop skills of critical thinking, research techniques, and clear expression necessary for academic writing. Grammar, research, close reading, and literary analysis are skills emphasized in the class

 

Lecturer, New York City College of Technology: August 2024 to present

Taught the English 1101 course to City Tech students, a writing-intensive seminar focused on developing students’ skills in: personal writing, research, close reading, genre differentiation, grammar, rhetorical strategies, and confident discussion of academic texts in a collegiate environment
